Commission- Kyokoby ~itara

This is a commission for Kyoko of TLK MUCK. I'm currently open for commissions...the price for a single character on an abstract background like this is $10.

I tried for a specific light source on this, and I'd love feedback on how I did.

The specific lightsource looks great, especially on the back leg :3 The only critique I have of it is that the shade the shadow is is maybe a little too similar to the background designs, it's a little difficult to sort what's the background texturing and what's shadow. Terrific other than that, though ^^ (Sorry, I just saw the "advanced critique encouraged" flag, hope you don't mind!)

No no, that's why I put the flag on! Good, I'm glad the light source looks right on the back leg; the two hind legs were the biggest challenge to get right. I think I made the shadow on the "ground" a little too pale because I was worried it wasn't quite right. Which is wimpy of me, but...well. There you go.
